These terms govern your use of the Called Shot app and the calledshot.si website (together, “Called Shot”), operated by James Watson (“we”, “us”). By using Called Shot you agree to them.

1. What Called Shot is, and is not

Called Shot is an informational and record-keeping tool. It lets you log predictions about public prediction markets, timestamps them, and grades them when those markets settle. Called Shot is not an exchange, broker, sportsbook, or gambling service. It does not accept wagers, hold funds, place orders, or provide investment, trading, or betting advice. Nothing in the app is a recommendation to trade anything.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including any rules about participating in prediction markets where you live.

3. Your calls are permanent by design

The value of a receipt is that it cannot be changed after the fact. Once a call is stamped it cannot be edited or deleted, except that you may cancel a call within 120 seconds of stamping it. Imported positions are labelled as imported because they were not stamped by us at the time you took them. Do not log anything you would not want attached to your handle.

4. Accuracy and grading

Market data, prices, and settlement results come from Kalshi and Polymarket. We grade calls against the result those venues publish. We make reasonable efforts to be accurate but we do not guarantee that prices, timestamps, scores, ranks, or settlement results are correct, complete, or timely. If a venue voids, corrects, or disputes a market, our grading may change or be withheld.

5. Receipts you share

Receipt pages are public to anyone with the link. You are responsible for what you share and for choosing a handle you are comfortable showing publicly. You grant us a licence to display the content of your receipts on the receipt page and in share images you generate.

6. Acceptable use

• Don't try to manipulate stamps, scores, or leaderboards, including by creating multiple identities.
• Don't scrape, overload, or interfere with the service or the venues it reads from.
• Don't use a handle that impersonates someone else or is abusive.
• Don't use Called Shot to facilitate unlawful gambling or to offer paid picks.

We may suspend or remove accounts and receipts that break these rules.

7. Pro subscription

Called Shot Pro costs $39.99 per year after a 14-day free trial, billed either through Apple (in the app) or through Paddle, our merchant of record (on the web). It renews automatically until cancelled. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. Apple purchases are managed and refunded under Apple's terms through your Apple ID settings. Web purchases can be cancelled from the link in your Paddle receipt email or by emailing us; refunds for web purchases are at our discretion except where required by law. Prices may change with notice before your next renewal.

8. Third-party services

Kalshi and Polymarket are independent services with their own terms. Your use of them is between you and them. Kalshi and Polymarket are trademarks of their respective owners; Called Shot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by either.

9. Disclaimers

Called Shot is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Prediction markets involve risk; past receipts, scores, and ranks do not predict future results, and you alone are responsible for any decisions you make.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, profits, or data, arising from your use of Called Shot. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Termination

You can stop using Called Shot at any time and request deletion of your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, with reasonable notice where practical.
